Anthony K. Mallgren originally formed Mallgren & Ferrell, P.C. in June, 1990 (as Mallgren & Associates, P.C.), as a law firm emphasizing personalized legal services to closely-held businesses. We represent large and small clients, including large commercial real estate owners and lenders, as well as individuals and their closely-held businesses.

Garth Ferrell became a shareholder and director January 1, 1999. The name of the firm was changed to Mallgren & Ferrell, P.C. at that time. With this addition, our firm added a litigation capability which allows us to serve our clients in all facets of dispute resolution, including litigation and trials, as well as alternative methods of dispute resolution such as arbitration. Mr. Ferrell's litigation experience includes the following areas:

  • Product liability
  • Trademark infringement and unfair business practices
  • Collection of receivables and promissory notes, including real estate foreclosures and replevin actions under the Uniform Commercial Code
  • Bankruptcy creditor claims
  • Estate litigation
  • Construction contractual disputes

The firm's clientele represents a diverse group of individuals and businesses. Current clients include real estate developers, commercial lenders, property managers, consumer product importers and distributors, physicians, architects, dentists and other attorneys. Many of the firm's clients have been successful in establishing and growing their professional practices and businesses. We have had several clients whom we have advised from their start-up phases through initial public offerings or acquisitions by publically traded companies.

Although we have represented public companies with regard to specialized matters, we also serve the needs of growing, entrepreneurial businesses where we can learn, understand and address the client's business and personal objectives.

Please feel free to ask us about our experience in any substantive area of the law or with your type of business, industry or profession.
